Stacking The Shelves #4

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

What else happened this week :

This weekend we celebrate the beginning of the “Ganesh Chaturti” celebration in India. It is a period of 15 days when the Lord Ganesh (fondly known as Ganpati) graces the houses of anyone who invites Him in. This is typically done by installing the idol of the playful God in one’s home and after a period of choice (1.5 days, 5 days, 11 days, etc) immersing the idol into water–usually a lake.

This year, I visited one of my closest friend’s house for the celebration. This is the idol that was at her house:

And this, of course, is a couple of my friends and me doing what we do best 😛

In other news, Goodreads gave me librarian status this week 🙂

Since this was a very successful (understatement) week for books, and I got more books than I’d hope for, I refrained from buying any new books 🙂 What did y’all do this week?
