A sassy, in-your-face baker. A panty-stealing, dirty-talking accountant. And a bathroom quickie that changed their lives forever.
Wedding hook-ups never amount to anything.
Unless that hook-up knocks you on your ass.
For Dylan Sparks and Reese Carroll, the big day can’t arrive soon enough. Dylan, stressed to the max from overbearing mothers and last minute preparations, struggles to keep her sanity. As for Reese, he’s fighting to not only keep his bride-to-be safe from creepy investors, but also to make it to the actual wedding day without losing his mind in the process.
Throw in a crazy group of friends, and a bachelor/bachelorette party weekend getaway, and you have a recipe for the sweetest wedding of the year.
Reese Carroll and Dylan Sparks cordially invite you to read Sweet Possession.
I can’t even begin to describe my excitement when I first saw the book on my Kindle. Of course, I’d signed up for the release day blitz but I had just about chewed my nails off trying to figure out why the ebook hadn’t reached me yet. And when it did….
Just, no words.
J. Daniels has truly outdone herself with Sweet Possession and I’m gonna go ahead and say what we’re all thinking—Sweet Possession was at par with, if not better, than Sweet Addiction.
Reese and Dylan are back in the second installment of the Sweet Addiction series and holy shit, these two are better than before. Ten days to go for The Big Day and you can practically feel how desperate these two are to tie the knot.
Dylan Sparks is honest-to-God one of my favorite literary heroines. She’s sassy and outgoing but she’s also one woman to stand her ground. And that I’d something that I’ve seen in Sweet Addiction too. Not only is she fiercely independent, but she knows how to keep people on their toes with her quick wit and that includes Reese Carrol—her fiancé. Especially her fiancé.
Our favorite accountant is back with his pervy mouth and magic cock.
And this time, Reese is onto something. Something that he can’t tell Dylan about. Something big. But of course he’s an accountant, not a mob boss. What could he possibly be doing that is dangerous, right?
Uh uh. Think again.
Remember Juls? Dylan’s best-friend, recently married, wedding-planner friend? I loved her then and I love her now. Granted, there’s a little less of her in this one but eh. She’s a married woman now. It’s kind of to be expected. Although I’d love me an entire book on Juls and Ian considering they are, you know, married. And, well, yeah. #ReadTheBook #TheresASpoiler #NotTelling
Joey was just as awesome as he was in the first book. He’s at a tiff with Brooke—Juls’ sisters—but he’s Joey, so it’s okay J He’s absolutely shameless, hopelessly in love with Billy, and eagerly awaiting to not be the only single, um, bitch in the trio. It’s hilarious. And Billy. Oh, God Billy. And the thing that he does for Joey. Perfection.
I thoroughly enjoyed the relationship Dylan and Reese seemed to share. Like I said, I’ve never read a couple so eager to tie the knot. And cold feet? Pshh. Amateur behavior. These two are two people who are genuinely in love, have amazing sex (!!!) and while they might not be perfect—far from it, actually—they’re absolutely perfect for each other. Cheesy, but true.
And I know I said there were no words for this book. I know. But I obviously found the words. But the ending?
Jeez. God. Holy frijoles.
Just. Pure. Awesomeness.
You, Miss Daniels? You’ve rocked my week. And my (virtual) book-shelf. And possibly my perception of accountants. Truly.
There is a giveaway for a signed paperback of Sweet Possession (US only).
